Our Services

Preferred Inspections provides residential home inspections, commercial property assessments, and related services, including mold assessments, WDO/WDI assessments, radon measurement, safety assessments, thermal imaging, and estate photography. Services are performed in accordance with applicable Ohio and West Virginia licensing requirements and the standards of practice referenced in your inspection agreement.

An inspection is a visual, non-invasive examination of the readily accessible systems and components of a property at the time of the inspection. It is not a warranty, guarantee, or insurance policy, and it does not identify every defect or condition that may exist or later develop.

Inspection Agreement

All inspection services are subject to a separate written inspection agreement that you will review and sign before the inspection is performed. If there is any conflict between these Terms and your signed inspection agreement, the inspection agreement controls with respect to the services it covers.

Scheduling, Payment, and Cancellation

• Appointment requests made through the Site are confirmed by us before they are final.
• Fees are quoted before the inspection and are due as described in your inspection agreement.

Inspection Reports

Inspection reports are prepared for the exclusive use of the client named in the inspection agreement. Reports may not be relied upon by, transferred to, or distributed to any other party without our written consent. You may share your report with your real estate agent, lender, or attorney in connection with your transaction.

Use of the Site

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site
• Copy, scrape, or reproduce Site content for commercial purposes without permission

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, graphics, and inspection report formats, is the property of Preferred Inspections or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not use our name, logo, or content without our prior written permission.

Third-Party Links and Tools

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party tools for scheduling, quotes, and communication. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites or services. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Preferred Inspections will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site. Liability related to inspection services is governed by your signed inspection agreement and applicable state law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the inspection services are performed (Ohio or West Virginia, as applicable), without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
